Curds Hall Barn is set within 12 acres of parkland and arable fields and surrounded by uninterrupted views of the Norfolk countryside. The 17th-century venue is made up of two conjoined rooms: The Main Barn is light and airy, with whitewashed walls showcasing unique chequered brick and flintwork, high vaulted ceilings with original beams and contemporary lighting. While the Woodshed provides a contrasting space with its darker wood cladding and atmospheric lighting – the perfect blank canvas for a romantic and intimate wedding breakfast.

Festoon lighting and a firepit outside the main entrance create a welcoming atmosphere in the evening and a great space for food trucks to pull up.

Celebrate in style
Ceremonies for up to 120 loved ones can take place in The Main Barn, as previously described it’s a bright room with huge, glazed doors and underfloor heating.

The Woodshed, a contrasting setting to the Main Barn, has room for 120 guests and boasts dark wood-clad walls, upright beams marking a natural aisle down the centre of the room and it can be dressed in swags of fabric or fairylights to create a magical feel.

For al fresco nuptials, you can tie the knot under the Old Oak Tree, positioned on the edge of the woodland, or outside on the lawn to the rear of the barn with stunning uninterrupted views of the Norfolk countryside. It has an adjoining open-fronted Cartshed with beautiful original brickwork and upright beams which can be decorated.

Post-vows, wedding breakfasts and receptions can take place in the Woodshed, which has long rustic dining tables and limewashed Chivari chairs and can host an evening reception for up to 200 guests with ample space for a band and dancefloor.

Long rustic dining tables can fill the length of The Main Barn for banquet-style dining. Alternatively, this space is used for an evening reception for up to 200 people with a bar in the same room as the dancefloor and access to the loft area – the perfect space for a snug breakout area.

We love...
When tying the knot here, you will have access to a dedicated wedding coordinator and, although Curds Hall Barn is a dry hire venue, it can provide many of the services needed, such as heating, lighting, tables and chairs, lavatories, a PA system and a staffed bar, leaving you to focus on the elements that you enjoy putting together.
