Only three-miles from Cambridge, Histon Manor is set within 11 acres of grounds, boasting formal gardens, lawns and woodlands.
The imposing Grade ll listed Georgian house is situated at the top a winding gravel drive, framed by two huge 300-year-old yew trees with views of several acres of lawns. Its windows are surrounded by roses in early summer and Virginia creeper turning golden in early autumn. The site aspect looks on to the formal topiary garden and pond.
Although you can't tie the knot here, the adjoining church St Andrews has a gate from the church into the grounds. Post-vows, around the fountain provides a picture-perfect spot for the drinks reception, while the lawned areas offer multiple locations for marquees. The moat, island, woodlands and secret garden offer fun areas for guests to explore.
Receptions take place in the garden with drinks usually hosted in the formal gardens. Marquees can be situated on the main lawns for a more formal backdrop or on the tennis court lawn surrounded by woodlands giving a more festival vibe. The venue's ground can host up to 200 guests.
