Murray Edwards College, Cambridgeshire

Located in a tranquil spot on the edge of the city centre, Murray Edwards College is a hidden gem. One of the more modern Cambridge colleges with wide, light-filled corridors, a magnificent main dining hall as well as smaller, more intimate spaces, it's a versatile venue for a city-chic reception. The Fountain Court Walkway is ideal for pre-dinner drinks and overlooks the fountains, a wow-factor feature lit up at night. With world-renowned works of art to admire inside the venue, the gardens are a major part of the Murray Edwards experience too. The Orchard Court lawn is ideal for marquees, inflatables and outdoor games and the secluded Fellows' Garden leads directly off the Fellows' Suite which includes a dining and drawing room; great as a wet-weather back up!
Receptions for up to 210 guests can take place in the Dome Dining Hall, which boasts a dancefloor and bar. For more intimate affairs with up to 70 people, the Fellows' Suite furnished with colourful rugs, art and attractive furniture, is ideal.
